Visiting the Discovery Center of Idaho

Please note, the Discovery Center will be CLOSED on 12/25/24 and 1/1/25 in observance of Christmas and New Years. We will reopen the following days.

Admission Prices

Admission includes access to all exhibitions, including The World’s Largest Dinosaurs, Classics Collection, Destination Moon: Apollo 11 Mission, Young Learners area, BRICKS!, Sun, Earth Universe and TINKER THE T-REX.  Please note, the Discovery Center of Idaho does not accept cash payments at this time.

General Admission

  • Adult ages 18+ – $25.50
  • Senior 65 and over – $22.50
  • Youth ages 2-17 – $17.50
  • Child under 2 – FREE
  • Members – FREE
  • EBT Card Holders – $3 per person admission for up to four people per visit (Cannot be reserved online, please see our front desk in person or call 208-343-9895)

  • Admission is available to purchase online up to seven days in advance, by phone at (208) 343-9895 and at our front desk.
  • You should receive a confirmation with your eTickets within 24 hours. If you did not receive confirmation, please contact us for assistance.
  • Advanced admission is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to guarantee entry.
  • Please note, at this time we are not accepting cash payments.

Reserve Tickets

Group Admission

Special rates available for non-school groups of 10 or more with advanced reservation using one form of payment. Discount code: GROUPS131.

For groups of 10 or more students, we ask for one chaperone to every five students and supervision at all times. Groups that are unable to follow the Discovery Center’s rules and staff instructions may be asked to leave and will not be eligible for a refund.
