Discovery Center of Idaho is proud to offer our lending library of learning kits from the National Informal STEM Education Network (N.I.S.E.), CELL-MET and Discovery Center staff to use for hands-on STEAM learning at home or in the classroom for *FREE! (*Fully refundable $25 deposit is required)

Exhibit Translations
The Discovery Center of Idaho has partnered with the Boise State University Department of World Languages to explore a new digital language translation program for our exhibit panels and labels! This new tool allows visitors to access written and recorded translations of many of our exhibition and exhibit panels and labels using your phone. This tool was created by French and Spanish language graduate students at Boise State University.
On-Demand Virtual School Program
On-demand STE(A)M instruction for at home, in the classroom or on the road! Dive into our resource library to immerse yourself in some of the Discovery Center of Idaho’s past and current exhibitions, request STEAM lending kits or take-home kits for a more tactile experience or even get a live, curated session from one of our educators about a STEAM topic of your choosing! Near or far, the possibilities are endless!
